Board Appointment - Peter Jensen

St John of God Hauora Trust has appointed Peter Jensen to its Board of Trustees in April 2018. The appointment of Peter extends the organisations commitment to high calibre governance, bringing in a diverse range of commercial and strategic experience.

Peter is CEO of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club based in Christchurch and has previously held the position of CEO for Southern Response, Spanbuild Holdings and Group General Manager of Skellerup Industries.

St John of God Hauora Trust Chair, Bevan Killick, said the organisation is fortunate to welcome a business leader with such a wealth of commercial experience.

“St John of God Hauora Trust continues to build upon a strong core of essential services. The appointment of Mr Jensen will provide vital experience and insight as we grow, drawing on his considerable experience in complex operating environments such as the housing and insurance sectors,” Mr Killick said.

 “In his capacity as Trustee of Odyssey House we are also fortunate to have an individual who has depth of understanding of our operating environment and a strong commitment to the mission and values we are responsible to enact and uphold.”

Peter has commenced his role from an 18 May Board meeting.
