Little Owls Preschool

Located on the corner of Woodham Road and Pages Road, Little Owls is centrally located for families in Avonside as well as Wainoni, Linwood, Bexley, Dallington and Phillipstown. We use Te Whāriki in our centre and ensure children are engaged in learning. Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced and take pride in providing a warm and caring environment for our tamariki and whanau.

Nursery Room

Our nursery caters for children from birth to two years of age and accommodates up to 15 children per day. The nursery is a calming environment with a separate sleep room and outdoor area. Children are able to explore and play throughout the day at their own pace.

Preschool Room

Our preschool caters for children two to five years of age, with up to 29 children onsite each day. The preschool offers a range of experiences during the day, based on the children’s interests.

 We are a KidsCan ECE Centre which means all Tamariki receive five fresh and healthy meals free of charge through the week. This important programme also provides free jackets, free shoes and socks as well as other health products.

St John of God Hauora Trust's Child Protection Policy helps ensure the safety and protection of children and provide guidelines for our caregivers to ensure correct and effective processes are in place when there are concerns for the safety or wellbeing of children.

Fees

We offer competitive fees and do not charge on public holidays. Did you know you may qualify for WINZ subsidies in addition to your 20 hours of ECE funding? You may be eligible for a WINZ Childcare Subsidy if you're the main carer of a dependent child and your family is on a low or middle income.
